I welcome enquiries from prospective PhD students interested in exploring environmental or social sustainability using discursive psychology or conversation analysis. I am keen to support projects that examine real‑world interactions, decision‑making, influence, responsibility, and values in practice. PhD students would have the opportunity to engage with the Sustainable Circular Innovation Lab and the SOCIAL Impact Lab at Heriot‑Watt University.

Applicants may wish to explore potential funding options such as the Scottish Graduate School of Social Sciences (SGSSS), as well as other relevant schemes or scholarships. I am happy to discuss ideas at an early stage and help scope viable research directions that align with discursive and interactional approaches.
